Imlil
Enjoy a scenic drive into the high Atlas mountains, make a few stops along the way for the stunning panoramic views before you reach the village of Imlil, in a beautiful valley dominated by the highest peak in North Africa, Toubkal rising up to nearly 14000 ft above sea level. Take a walk around the valley or ride a mule to ascend to the village of Armed to discover the magnificent national park.
Essaouira
Enjoy a day trip to the old fortified fishing port of Essaouira on the atlantic coast. See the amazing mixture of Portuguese and Berber architecture. Explore the colourful souks, art galleries, the carpentry workshops devoted to cedar and Thuya wood carving and the fortified harbour with it’s stalls of freshly caught seafood.
Asni and Ouirgane
About an hour from Marrakech lies this magnificent green valley of Ourigane, hidden in the foothills of Mount Toubkal. You can visit the souk Tahanout (Tuesday and Saturday) before taking the drive through the river gorges Ghezaia on the way to Asni, famous for amethyst, for a picnic lunch while enjoying the fabulous mountain scenery.
Cascade d’Ouzoud
Cascades d’ Ouzoud is one of the most spectacular sights in Morocco. Located in a friendly Berber village, the three beautiful tiered waterfall plunge 110m into the river below. You can trek along the river to the caves, enjoy short walks to enjoy the natural scenery, relax in a waterside straw hut or take a swim in the refreshing water
